Tony Gonzales's Affair
Could Give This Seat to Democrats
It’s been confirmed: Tony Gonzales had a taxpayer-funded affair with one of his employees who killed herself after he cut her off.
Tony’s behavior puts Republicans at risk of losing a safe seat and handing Congress over to the Democrats—and that’s a risk we can’t afford.
Vote for the Pro-Trump Republican who can hold this seat: Brandon Herrera.

Voted to Bring 86,000 Afghan Refugees
to the U.S. with Inadequate Vetting
July 22, 2021 · H.R. 3985, "ALLIES Act of 2021" · Bill
What it did
Gonzales voted for legislation that expanded Afghan Special Immigrant Visas by 8,000 and relaxed qualification requirements, removing the need for applicants to prove they faced a specific threat. This was part of the broader Operation Allies Welcome that ultimately brought over 86,000 Afghan evacuees to the United States. The bill passed 407-16, with conservatives like Chip Roy, Andy Biggs, Lauren Boebert, and Marjorie Taylor Greene voting NO.
Why it matters
Inspector General reports later revealed officials lacked "critical data" to properly vet evacuees, including missing biometric data and unreliable identification documents. The State Department IG noted "a high level of identity fraud" in Afghanistan.
Defense Department analysts later identified dozens of Afghans in the U.S. with derogatory information in DOD databases. Senator John Cornyn described it as a "haphazard evacuation" where many Afghans were paroled "even when we had derogatory information or concerns about them."
Despite these security concerns, Gonzales publicly stated he wanted "Afghan partners to know that America will not abandon them" and that "Fort Bliss will make a key role" in resettlement.

Who is Tony Gonzales really fighting for?
Tony's Democrat Friends
On October 3rd, 2025, Tony Gonzales attended the United Civic Organizations 60th Anniversary Gala—where he posed for photos surrounded by Democrat officials.
These are Democrats who support gun control, open borders, and everything Tony Gonzales claims to be against. Yet here he is, smiling and celebrating with them instead of fighting for the conservative values he promised Texas voters.
Tony Gonzales isn't a conservative. He's a RINO who feels more comfortable with party Democrats at fancy galas than with the everyday Texas conservatives who elected him.

Tony's Anti-ICE Award
On March 9th, 2023, Tony Gonzales accepted the LULAC National Freedom and Justice Award at their 26th Annual Legislative Awards Gala in Washington, D.C.
LULAC is an organization that sponsors petitions demanding Congressional investigation of DHS following ICE enforcement actions and provides resources for immigrants to report ICE activity. This is an organization actively working against federal immigration enforcement.
While Tony Gonzales represents 843 miles of the Texas border and should be supporting the federal agents protecting it, LULAC actively helps people report ICE agents to undermine their enforcement operations. LULAC operates a direct hotline (1-202-699-4637) and maintains a website at lulac.org/reportice specifically designed to help people report and track ICE enforcement activity—the very agents Tony Gonzales should be supporting as a border representative.
Tony Gonzales represents 843 miles of the Texas border—yet he's accepting awards from anti-ICE organizations. He has never denounced LULAC or returned the award.

#LULAC #AbolishICE #2026Election
LULAC's anti-ICE advocacy on social media
Actions speak louder than words. Tony Gonzales can claim to be a conservative all he wants—but when the cameras come out, he's standing with Democrats who oppose Second Amendment rights, border security, and Texas values—while accepting awards from organizations that want to abolish ICE.
If Tony Gonzales is this comfortable with Democrats and anti-ICE groups when the cameras are on—what's happening when the cameras are off?
The Truth Must Come Out
Demands for Transparency
The tragic death of Tony Gonzales's aide, Regina Ann Santos-Aviles, has raised serious questions that remain unanswered. Texas voters deserve the truth before they go to the polls.
Why This Matters
These are federal employees of the United States House of Representatives, paid by taxpayers. The public has a right to know the truth. If Congressman Gonzales would like to deny these claims, he should do so under oath with the penalty of perjury.
Release the Investigation Report
The sheriff's office has refused to release the investigation report into Regina Ann Santos-Aviles's death for months. How can an investigation remain sealed from the public with no legal justification?
Release All Supporting Documents
Text messages, police reports, and any relevant documents explaining what happened must be made public. There are persistent reports of incriminating text messages that voters have a right to see.
Release the Coroner Report
Regina Ann Santos-Aviles was a close aide to the congressman—on his payroll up until the day she died. The voters have a right to know the results of the autopsy.
Explain the Non-Disclosure Agreements
Unlike other Texas congressmen, Tony Gonzales reportedly requires his aides and staffers to sign NDAs concerning the congressman and his activities. How many staffers signed NDAs? Which ones? Were NDAs required before they could receive their federal paychecks?
Answer Questions About Staffer Relationships
With how many staffers has Congressman Gonzales had inappropriate relationships during his time in office? How many times have staffers been threatened with legal action or personal and financial destruction?
The Bottom Line
"The issue is Tony Gonzales, his ethics, his true character, and his judgment. Let's have the facts, let's have the truth, and then the voters can truly make an informed decision. Anything less is criminal."
Texas voters have a right to know the truth before March 3rd.
